Autumn Bingham is a Liscensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), who received her undergraduate from Northeastern IL University and a MSW from Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois Chicago. She provides a safe, welcoming, non- judgmental en vironment and believes in treating the whole person body/mind/spirit. Autumn’s Holistic approach allows each individual to look within and navigate healing and growth through goal setting and taking steps toward positive change. Autumn has experience working with the elderly population, substance use, domestic violence, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, stress management, building self- esteem and reducing negative self- talk. Autumn believes in empowering clients to create their own measurable and attainable goals that will cultivate peace, balance, communication skills and increased self-esteem. Autumn utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based and Mindfulness Therapies and believes that all change is possible.
As a therapist, she strives to provide a safe environment for clients to reach out when and if ready. She will sit with a client and if they are not ready to talk, they won’t. She is here to work with the client where they are at. She wants to understand what her clients need and how she can help them.
Her approach is to enable a calm and positive presence. She offers a safe welcoming environment for clients to open up and feel safe. Her passion is to assist clients to create goals toward their lives and see growth and change. She believes in treating the whole person Body, Mind, Spirit. She has experience working with substance use, anxiety, grief, self-esteem building and many more areas.
Her ideal client will be open to therapy and wants to grow and work on themselves. They exhibit stress, low self-esteem and in need of new coping skills. Goals would be to grow and change. They would like to learn ways to have positive thinking and coping skills. They will be open to taking steps towards goals and celebrate positive changes.
