Calvin Fiore is a Mental Health Counselor who has been working for Counseling Speaks. He graduated at DePaul University. He first developed a love for counseling when realizing how important communication and effort is in maintaining a healthy status of mental health. Calvin was born and raised in Park Ridge, IL. Here he learned about how important family and relationships are. As the years progressed Calvin developed a love and affinity for all things psychology. He attended The University of Missouri - Columbia, to gain his bachelors in Psychology. After graduating he realized his calling would be working as a therapist. He applied to DePaul University and chose their program based on how well they utilized the wellness model. It’s here where he learned important values and understanding of what it takes to become an excellent therapist.

Calvin learned about the positives of self-care and mindfulness. Here he found a liking to existential theory and reads consistently about it. Calvin learned about how important self-care is to the mind and body. He often reminds clients that it is okay to want to change. Calvin has spent his years studying and practicing his therapeutic techniques to best benefit his client’s. Calvin has aspirations to become a licensed family and marriage counselor. With these tools at his side, he is ready to help you become the best version of yourself.
