Mentoring Program

It is The Counseling Speaks Mentorship Program’s mission to help individuals

live their best life and reach their maximal potential in their professional,

educational, and personal life. The Counseling Speaks Mentorship Program is

for anyone at any age who feels that they could benefit from a structured

program that focuses on setting and achieving personal goals as well as

educating themselves as to how they can live their best life. Topics included in

the mentorship program that the mentor and mentee will work to develop and

strengthen are: goal-setting/career planning, stress management, work-life

balance, problem solving/decision making, positive psychology and attitude,

and more depending on individualized needs and goals. The mentorship

program is typically organized into bimonthly meetings over the course of 6

months for a total of 12 sessions. However, the time frame and curriculum

may be slightly altered depending on the mentor/mentee’s circumstances and

schedules.
